1. Scope of this California notice

This notice applies to personal information covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, as amended from time to time. It supplements the GuardPPC Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and other customer agreements rather than replacing them.

2. Categories of personal information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with GuardPPC, we may collect categories of personal information that reasonably relate to you, your device, or your business relationship with us.

• Identifiers. Name, business email, account name, company details, IP address, device identifiers, or other online identifiers.
• Customer records and commercial information. Billing contacts, subscription details, transaction history, plan selections, and records of products or services purchased or considered.
• Internet or network activity. Website browsing activity, login events, page views, session behavior, referrers, click telemetry, and interactions with GuardPPC features.
• Geolocation or device-related information. Approximate location inferred from IP, browser and operating system details, network indicators, and device characteristics used for fraud analysis and security.
• Support and communication records. Messages, meeting notes, support history, and related information exchanged when you contact GuardPPC.

3. Sources of information and business purposes

GuardPPC collects information directly from you, automatically from your use of our website and platform, and from service providers or integration partners acting on your instructions. We use that information for business and commercial purposes connected to the service.

• Account management. To create workspaces, authenticate users, administer subscriptions, process billing, and manage support relationships.
• Service delivery. To monitor traffic quality, score suspicious clicks, analyze session evidence, generate reports, and sync exclusions or protective actions to supported ad platforms.
• Security and fraud prevention. To protect GuardPPC systems, detect abuse, investigate incidents, enforce agreements, and reduce invalid traffic or misuse.
• Improvement and communications. To improve the website and service, respond to inquiries, and send account-related or permitted marketing communications.

4. Disclosures, service providers, and sale or sharing statements

GuardPPC may disclose personal information to service providers, contractors, integration partners, and professional advisers where needed to operate the service, process payments, host infrastructure, provide support, maintain security, or comply with legal requirements.

• Service-provider disclosures. Recipients are expected to handle personal information only for the contracted services they perform for GuardPPC or for the customer relationship at issue.
• Sale of personal information. GuardPPC does not sell personal information in exchange for money.
• Sharing for cross-context advertising. GuardPPC does not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that would require a California opt-out right. If our practices materially change, we will update this notice and any required controls.
• Sensitive personal information. GuardPPC does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a separate right to limit under California law, except as permitted by law or necessary to provide requested services.

5. California privacy rights

California residents may have the following rights, subject to legal exceptions and the nature of the relationship involved.

• Right to know. Request the categories of personal information GuardPPC collected, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection or disclosure, and the categories of third parties receiving it.
• Right to access and portability. Request access to specific pieces of personal information and receive them in a portable format where required by law and technically feasible.
• Right to delete. Request deletion of personal information GuardPPC collected from you, subject to exceptions for security, legal compliance, service delivery, and similar permitted reasons.
• Right to correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained by GuardPPC.
• Right to non-discrimination. GuardPPC will not discriminate against you for exercising California privacy rights, subject to lawful differences tied to the value or function of the service requested.

6. Verification, authorized agents, and response timing

To protect personal information, GuardPPC may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. Requests may be submitted by you or, where permitted by law, by an authorized agent acting on your behalf.

• Verification information. We may ask for information that reasonably matches records we already hold, or documentation showing an agent’s authority to act for you.
• Response windows. GuardPPC will respond within the time required by applicable California law and will explain if an extension or exception applies.
• No account required. You do not need to create an account just to make a California privacy request.

7. Retention, minors, and service context

GuardPPC retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in our legal documentation, taking into account the nature of the data, service needs, security considerations, legal obligations, and dispute resolution requirements.

GuardPPC is designed for businesses and marketing teams, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 16 in connection with our public website or service offerings.
