1. Scope and data roles
This policy applies to the GuardPPC marketing website, product sign-up and demo requests, support interactions, and the GuardPPC platform used to monitor campaign traffic, score click quality, and automate fraud-response actions.
- GuardPPC as controller. We act as the controller for business contact details, billing records, website analytics, support conversations, and other information we collect directly to operate our business.
- GuardPPC as processor. When customers send campaign and visitor traffic data through the platform, we process that information on the customer’s behalf to deliver fraud detection, reporting, exclusion sync, and related product features.
2. Information we collect
The exact information collected depends on how you interact with GuardPPC, which features you enable, and whether you are using the website, requesting a demo, or operating a live account.
- Information you provide. Name, business email, company name, phone number, ad spend details, onboarding notes, support messages, and any other information you choose to submit through forms, meetings, or email.
- Account and billing information. Subscription plan details, invoicing contacts, transaction records, and payment status. Payment card handling is managed through payment processors rather than stored directly by GuardPPC.
- Technical and usage data. IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referrers, timestamps, cookies, local storage identifiers, and activity logs needed to secure the service and understand usage.
- Customer traffic and fraud-analysis data. Click timestamps, landing pages, device and browser signals, network and location indicators, session activity, ad-platform metadata, risk scores, exclusion events, and similar telemetry used to assess traffic quality.
3. How we use information
GuardPPC uses personal information only where it has a legitimate business reason, a contractual need, consent, or another lawful basis to do so.
- Deliver the service. Create accounts, authenticate users, connect ad platforms, generate dashboards, flag suspicious traffic, and automate blocking or exclusion workflows.
- Operate product features. Score click quality, analyze behavioral signals, surface session evidence, support reporting, and maintain the fraud-detection models and rules behind the platform.
- Support customers. Respond to support cases, onboarding questions, legal requests, billing issues, and other communications related to the service.
- Protect GuardPPC and users. Prevent misuse, investigate incidents, maintain logs, detect abuse, and enforce our agreements.
- Improve the website and platform. Measure feature adoption, diagnose reliability issues, and improve user experience, reporting quality, and campaign-protection workflows.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining required records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.
GuardPPC uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for a security-sensitive product, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and controlled vendor access. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we design our controls to reduce risk and limit unnecessary exposure.
Operational safeguards and product-security practices are described in more detail on our Data Security page.
7. International transfers and processing
GuardPPC and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where it was originally collected. Where cross-border transfers apply, we use contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards that are appropriate for the transfer and the role we play in the processing.
Customers who need processor terms can request or review our Data Processing Agreement.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correct inaccurate data, delete data, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or request a portable copy of your information.
- Website leads and account contacts. Contact GuardPPC directly to exercise privacy rights related to information we control.
- End users of a GuardPPC customer. If your information was collected through a customer’s ad traffic or website traffic, please contact that customer first because they control the underlying campaign relationship.
- Marketing preferences. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us directly.

9. Children’s privacy and policy updates
GuardPPC is intended for businesses and marketing teams. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as our product, legal obligations, or service providers change. When we do, we will update the revision date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
